
Iran and Türkiye have increased bilateral trade
Recent data shows that the trade between Iran and Türkiye reached $1.75 billion in the past four months.
According to a report from TurkStat, Iran and Turkiye traded goods worth $1.75 billion in the first four months of 2024.
The image depicts a 2% increase from the $1.72 billion reported in the same period last year.
The report also stated that in April 2024, there was a 12% rise in the trade volume between the two adjacent nations, reaching $386 million, surpassing the figure from April 2023.
According to the report, Türkiye’s exports to Iran in the January-April period reached around $1.05 billion, showing a 16% increase from last year’s $900 million during the same period.
It was also mentioned that Iran’s exports to Turkiye for four months have amounted to $700 million, showing a 14% decrease from last year’s $820 million in the same period.
